Not everything called honey… is honey.
The story began with a question for which we found no clear answer: How did a product known to mankind for thousands of years become so obscure in origin and trust?
We didn't start a company. We started a journey of discovery.
A search that led us far from the usual commercial routes, to places where the bee still works as it was created… far from acceleration, and far from interference.
There, we realized an idea like a niche:
True quality does not need fanfare, but integrity in selection.
Why might the price of a niche be higher?
We welcome this question… because true value is not measured by words, but by what actually reaches you. Honey is not a single product as it appears in the markets; packaging may be similar, but the real difference lies in unseen details such as the source of the nectar, the bee environment, the collection method, and the level of quality verification. At Kamishkat, we don't just buy honey; we meticulously select it through laboratory analysis of each batch. Therefore, much of what is offered to us does not reach you, because Kamishkat's name is only placed on products whose quality is scientifically proven. Also, real natural honey cannot be produced in large quantities without affecting its value, so we prefer limited production with extreme care over abundance that diminishes the product's authenticity. We believe that quality starts with respecting bees and their environment. The closer the production method is to nature, the closer the honey is to its true essence, and this requires more time, more precise selection, and higher cost. Ultimately, you are not just paying for a jar of honey, but for a reliable and traceable source, accurate laboratory analysis, natural honey without mixing or modification, and careful selection instead of widespread commercial production. Simply put, we do not strive to be the cheapest… but to be the trustworthy choice.
